Hook’n Them Up Fishing Charters

I recently booked a three day fishing charter with Steve Cahill at Hook’n Then Up

Charters in Port McNeill.

The owner Steve and his family showed me the best time I have ever had and I am

a lifetime fisherman. Steve and his dad ran the boat and both Steve and Paul have

a determination that their customers are going to catch fish. Steve has all the

provincial accreditation’s required and more and the very best equipment. He

knows the spots to fish and does everything in his power to make sure his guests

catch fish. Steve also puts crab traps down for guests.

The accommodations and food was five stars (Steve is also a chef) with his

mother working on lunches and helping out you are pampered beyond anything I

have ever experienced.

I caught my limit of all fish and we were the only boat coming in with fish. Steve

filleted my fish and vacuum packed and froze them daily.

As a consumer and a fisherman I would recommend Steve and his charter

business to all looking to get value for their money, and get a friendly professional

experience. Oh, you will catch fish, Steve will do everything possible to make sure

of that.

Thanks again guys for the hospitality and great time I enjoyed with you, rest

assured in the fall I will be looking for another trip with you.

All Charters Packages will Include Professional charter guide, private use of our Custom 27ft offshore Sea Ray, Bait, Tackle and Equipment. We provide transportation to and from the Port Hardy/Port McNeill airport or ferry terminal as well as comfortable private accommodations, 3 meals per day, and the processing, vacuum sealing, freezing and boxing of your fish for transport. Standard rates for the boat are based on a fuel price of $1.35/litre and are for a 10 hour day starting at 6:00 am. (tides pending may leave earlier). Should fuel prices increase, a $50.00 daily surcharge will be applied.

Chinook (King) Salmon – 2 per day, 4 in possession (Same within BC)

Coho (Silver) Salmon – 2 to 4 per day depending on area, 4-8 in possession

Pink, Chum, Sockeye – 1-8 depending on amount of Chinook/Coho kept

Lingcod – 3 per day, 6 in possession (AREA 11 ONLY)

Yelloweye Rockfish – 2 per day, 4 in possession

Other Species Rockfish – 5 per day, 10 in possession (AREA 11 ONLY)

Halibut – This is dependent on Department of Fisheries and Oceans regulations and can change with little notice, but in past years has been 1 per day, 2 in possession

The Captain Reserves The Right To Cancel Trips if he deems the weather conditions are unsafe or if other safety issues arise. As well the Captain can and will refuse guests from boarding the vessel if the guest in any way threatens the safety of the vessel or its guests. Safety First Folks.

A 50% non refundable deposit is required when prebooking a trip by cash, cheque or money order or credit card. The balance is due the day of your trip by cash or money order or credit card, debit card.
